Software engineer, 39 - Cut daily knee pain from 7/10 to 2-3/10 and returned to 20-mile training weeks.

Software engineer, 39, parent of two, history of chronic knee pain and long commutes.

  • Went from needing pain meds most evenings to using them 1-2x per week.
  • Built from 5-10 minute walks to 45 minutes without flare-up over 10 weeks.
  • Reintroduced 3x/week strength and run sessions without repeat swelling cycles.

“I had almost given up on running. Within three months, my knees hurt less walking up the stairs than they did in my twenties.”

Chronic knee pain

Founder, 34 - From 4-5 hours of broken sleep to consistent 7+ hour nights and stable mornings.

Startup founder, 34, juggling a team, fundraising, and a young family with long-standing insomnia.

  • Reduced night-time wake-ups from 4-5x to 0-1x on most nights.
  • Built a 90-minute wind-down routine that fit around family and late calls.
  • Reported “no longer running on fumes” during key investor meetings.

“I used to think being exhausted was just the price of building something. Now I wake up clear most days—without feeling like I'm sacrificing the company or my kids.”

Burnout & poor sleep

Creative director, 42 - Cut “lost in tabs” time in half and shipped work in focused blocks again.

Creative director, 42, remote, struggling with brain fog and scattered workdays.

  • Went from scattered 10-15 minute sprints to 45-60 minute deep work blocks.
  • Set up a simple daily tracking system for energy and focus windows.
  • Reported “showing up more present” in both client meetings and home life.

“Instead of fighting my brain all day, I know when to lean into focus and when to deliberately recover. Work feels additive again, not draining.”

Brain fog & scattered focus

Recreational athlete, 29 - Returned to overhead training after years of shoulder pain.

Recreational volleyball and lifting athlete, 29, avoiding overhead work for over two years.

  • Moved from pain with basic overhead reach to pressing moderate loads overhead without flare-up.
  • Rebuilt scapular control and shoulder confidence with progressive drills instead of random programs.
  • Returned to playing in a weekly league without needing 2-3 days of recovery for one match.

“Instead of being told to just stop doing the things I love, we found ways to earn them back step by step.”

Chronic shoulder pain

Parent, 37 - From daily low-back pain to picking up kids and playing on the floor again.

Parent of two, 37, desk-based work, persistent low-back pain and energy crashes by late afternoon.

  • Reduced daily pain from constant background ache to occasional flare-ups tied to clear triggers.
  • Introduced “micro-movement” breaks that fit between meetings, not instead of them.
  • Reported feeling “less afraid” of normal activities like travel and play.

“The biggest change wasn't just less pain—it was trusting my back again when my kids ran toward me.”

Persistent low-back pain

Executive, 45 - Reduced travel burnout and rebuilt a training rhythm that stuck.

Executive, 45, frequent travel, “on” for other people most of the day, inconsistent training history.

  • Designed a travel-friendly training and recovery plan that actually fit flights and meetings.
  • Established 3 non-negotiable anchors each week instead of chasing perfect schedules.
  • Reported feeling “less like I'm surviving the quarter and more like I'm steering it.”

“This was the first time a plan started with my real constraints instead of pretending they didn't exist.”

What these results tend to have in common

What clients bring

  • Willingness to experiment and be honest about what is and is not working.
  • Openness to tracking a handful of metrics (pain, sleep, energy, training) for a season.
  • Readiness to adjust sleep, movement, or workload in small but meaningful ways.
  • Curiosity about how their nervous system and habits actually interact.

What Brandon brings

  • A nervous-system lens that connects pain, energy, mood, and performance.
  • Simple experiments instead of overwhelming overhauls.
  • A structured 100-day style plan with clear checkpoints and pivots.
  • Clear communication, realistic expectations, and no shame-based coaching.

If you recognize yourself in both lists, there's a good chance you'll benefit from a structured sprint together. That's exactly what Brandon designs with clients on his free Insight Calls.

Is this realistic for me?

How long did these results take?
Most of the examples on this page come from 8-16 week sprints. Some people see shifts quickly; others need more time because of history, health status, or life load. We will talk honestly about what realistic timelines look like for you.
Do I need to already be an “athlete”?
No. “Evolved Athlete” is about how you move through life, not your race times. Many clients are business owners, caregivers, or people who simply want their body and brain to feel less like a limitation.
What if my situation feels more severe or complex?
Part of the initial call is deciding whether coaching is appropriate and ethical for you. If red flags point toward medical or therapeutic care first, Brandon will say so and help you think about next steps. Coaching is about changing inputs and behavior patterns—not replacing medical care.
Are these typical results?
Every body and context is different. These stories are chosen to illustrate what is possible, not to define a “standard” you have to meet. We will focus on the specific changes that would be meaningful for you and build from there.
